Ever unwittingly got a Chritian fuming just coz you tell her Buddhism doesn't believe in God? Well my advice to all you Buddhists is..don't ever commit the same mistake.I've just read Deepak Chopra's brilliant 'How To Know God' and it dawns on me that every perception in this desire realm is relative, right down to what God means to each person. So if you think God is a person handing out judgements or that God is a state of non-duality emptiness, both are just as valid. The only difference is ..according to Deepak ..the former is on Level 2 of the path whilst the latter is on a higher level. At the end of day,'God','Enlightenment','Emptiness','Buddhism' are just human terms conceptualized by a very limited human experiennce. All practising dharma students should strive to transcend this experience. It's too easy to think dualistically and then engage in some senseless argument with a person of another faith. We're all seeing our reality based on our own karmic formations so our perceptions are just as valid as the next guy's.
