Didn`t the Buddha teach not to kill or harm any sentient beings? So many Buddhists, both laymen and monks, are eating the flesh of other living beings. Why are there so many different interpretations of this simple and indeed basic teaching of Buddhism, in the many different sects?
Should ones diet be a very important step in the direction of peaceful and enlightened world?
