: Dear anybody......
: Honestly, i do not think the practise of the beliefs thought in Buddhism has anything to do with you disowning by your dad. I must admit that i am not married and have no children of my own.
: But I can imagine how it would feel like if I suddenly found out that i had a stepson/daughter that i hardly knew about and he/she suddenly steps into my happily married life.
: I honestly think that there is more to the story then this........ The discomfort or the tension between your stepmom, dad and you could be due to the sudden bringging up of that was in the past........
: I think you should try talking to your dad again. Hey, blood is thicker then water, don't give up...... just becuse he can accept you, dosen't mean you have to stop loving him.........
: Try finding other means of communicating.

: Good luck.

: May you be well and happy

: Nanda

Nanda, thank you you don't know how you've confirmed some things for me, I don't know much about budhism, as I am Apostolic (pentecostal). I do love my dad very much - you have encouraged me and you're right - I was a child that was missing and am now found by even my moms family - then I was presumed dead but very much alive. Anyway, may God bless you and again thank you, I'm not going to give up - if you know the word of prayer, pray for us.
