: I have been a Buddhist practitioner for about seven years & I've found over time that there are some questions that I have that can not be answered within Buddist texts. So I would like to pose the following situation and question to the members of the village: When I try to tell my friends or family members about what I've learned as a Buddhist they tell me that I'm using Buddhism as an escape from reality. When I try to explain to them that Buddhism is reality & that they are the ones trapped in a world of illusion they get upset with me. So my question is: How should I deal with others who don't accept my Buddhist views & who think that Buddhism is an escape from Reality? Peace & love to you all!

Hi!
It is good that u have start up with the life of cultivation
in buddhism.
Just let the people around u who don't believe in
buddhism be, becoz they don't have the fate with
buddhism yet.
But you, have realize the truth ! this is a very good
beginning, continue it ! don't change your mind just by
other people's idea. U must have a strong mind.
At the end, I wish u success !
u can contact my ICQ at 68526054
