the trouble is that in searching for freedom and
enlightenment, you may have become too desperate.
if you seek something to bring you eternal peace and joy etc, you are striving for things which exist in your mind as concepts. if you can dare to give up searching for truth, you may see that this search is one of your main problems. we all scorn the idea of accumulating wealth to bring happiness, yet how is it any different to torment yourself with searching for a magic remedy, no matter what we call it? i dare you to confront the urge which is leading you around in a search for something obscure. If you are suffering because you cannot find what you seek, stop seeking, face this urge to escape and just let it go. it would be such a shame to take drastic methods like suicide because you tell yourself that there is no other way. you have given yourself an ultimatum "either get 'enlightened' or kill yourself.otherwise you cant be happy" now this does not sound very enlightened, does it?
stop this search. the wise tell us that you must search without searching, i may be wrong, but this
is how i ceased my own suffering!(and i am not
'enlightened')
