This is part of larger concerns, of family and bonds between parents and children, grandparents...youth, aging...You may find the answer you seek in exploring the larger concerns. Attachment and death...in one of His Holiness the Dalia Lama's books, he relates the story of compassion and generosity so great that a parent gives up one's children to ease the suffering of others. Of course, in any culture, in any land, in any reasonable body of thought, the parent-child relationship is of extreme importance.


: I would like to know how the relation between mother and son is explained by buddism.
