These are great ideas. I have been looking around at BBS myself and when I get back from vacation towards the end of August will implement a new one. That will provide multiple topic options etc. (wish me luck!)
Links to Buddhist sites is something I've been meaning to do but failing for lack of time. I didn't want to put up a half-baked list. One trouble with a free-for-all links page is spamming by people/robots, so it does take time up supervising it. But maybe there's a different way. I really would like to start one.
The articles board could be a good idea, maybe more for longer topics. With the software I'm currently looking at, the number of message boards is actually unlimited (except by the server!).
Book reviews: excellent!
Getting lamas on line is a pet project of mine, but it's proving a bit difficult as most of the lamas I know are not only Tibetan with not too much awareness of operating computers (necessitating an 'amenuensis') but are heavily committed into teachin "live" as it were already.
However, I have not given up at all and am still working on it - all help gratefully received!

Well, I find all this really exciting and can see how this can grow and be done! It really makes me want to work hard to make it happen, so encouraging! Maybe we should all start sites and link them up? In any event, I'll certainly be pushing ahead when I get back.
All the best in the Dharma,
Tony
