: friends
: I was wondering if anybody knows any chants or mantras, breathing exercises or meditations to help me quit smokeing? Thanks

I bought a book a while back called "The everyday meditator" by Osho. In it are many simple meditations you can do throughout your day while you're going about your daily business. In it is a simple meditation designed to help you quit smoking. I'm not sure if it works as I've never smoked but here it is.
When you're about to have a cigarette, relax and do it slowly. Be fully aware of what you're doing as you take the cig out of the packet - don't do it in the usual hurried automatic way, be alert and aware of everything you're doing. Be fully aware of lighting the cigarette and taking your first puff. The idea is that by paying attention to every part of the process of smoking you break the automatic habits you've built up, making it easier to quit. Hope this helps

Peace,
Remmy
