: Hi,

: I am an American expatriate living in the Middle East. I have studied Buddhism from books for a long time and now I want to become a Buddhist. How can I learn more about becoming a Buddhism? I am willing to travel. If anyone can give me information, I shall be most grateful.

: Yours truly,
: Tony

Tony: What part of the middle east are you residing in? How do you know that you are not a Buddhist, we are all born with Buddha nature and I am sure that reading all those books have given you a great insite on the subject. If you will hop on your search and request Buddism-religion, it should bring something up for you. I don't what area of Buddhism you are into. The bottom line is that it is the same just that the methods are different. When you say that you are able to travel, what are the closest countries you can get to? Wishing all the best in your search for truth.

Susan
