We’re engaged here in a conventionally-based analysis of the ultimate mode of existence of phoenomena. The reason why there’s a point to trying to ascertain this lack of inherent existence of objects is because our instinctive, beginninglessly-learned approach is to see them as being inherently existent. That wrong view is the whole problem, and that’s what we’re trying to refute in order to turn our own minds around.
A conventional phenomenon is not negated by this analysis. Only the appearance of it, and our belief in that appearance as being true.
Best of luck!
