Church and State:
Earlier, U.N. Secetrary-General Kofi Annan critizes world religious leaders for not doing enough to uphold human rights. "Religion has often been yoken to nationalism, stoking the flames of violent and setting group again group,{" he said. Religious leaders have not always spken out when their voices could have helped combat hatred and persecution, or could arouse peple from indifference. This is not a political statement but a statement of the ages. Just putting thughts out here.
