: Hello everyone,
: My name is Yin Yat and I'm from Singapore. Please feel free to drop me a message, it will be good to share various interpretation of Buddhist teachings world wide. A good way to eliminate superstitions and mystics.

I think (at least, I read) that Buddha used superstitions and mystics in his teaching. Buddha is teaching something that nobody has the experience of. He got to use whatever people can understand.

I think we should have compassion to people who feel that they have to hold on to something larger than individual committment.

What do you think? (I grow up a Chinese Buddhist, so I guess I know what you mean by superstitions and mystics.)
