Sam,
Don't worry about the typos, didn't even notice. Your follow up was very well put. There really isn't one dharma. The buddha likewise said that he only showed one path, to take the journey is up to the individual. I've never heard a true teacher of buddhist practice preach spreading the path. True teachers are sought out, they don't have to "advertise". I believe it's because when we meet a teacher that is right for us, it's after a connection has taken place, and after we carefully watch and listen to that teacher to see how sincere his talk is with his walk. Sorry for the cliches, but sometimes they are useful. The religion or spirituality that's right for each person is very individual, and it comes from the heart, not out of ourselves. Thanks again Sam for your information.

Stephen
