all i can tell you is that christianity was spread by st paul to the greeks and romans and other gentiles, and that eventually Emporer Constantine made it the official religion of the roman empire, in recognition of its unifying potential. most of the church in its pre-vatican II form was the result of this change. it is fair to assume that the church changed when rome took over. sorry i dont know any dates.
