Have I givin up my search? No, of course not. Have I found relief? Sort of. My mind has always been troubled... since I was very young; it has been relieved of many of those things and thoughts by which it was plauged, but not all. Today I still get annoyed, angery, and frustrated... but the difference is that these things are fare less intense and upsetting then they once were, they pass quickly and harm me little. I'm still shy and socially awkward but others don't know that:) Well, they don't notice it much. To answer your question, I have found a some of what I seek, but complete relief is still to be obtained... or should I say realized. I'd like to leave a quote to, it was a written by Zen master Harada-Roshi:

For forty years I've been selling water
By the bank of a river.
Ho, ho!
My labors have been wholly without merit.

The obvious implication is that the river was always there... but those that bought from him simple didn't realize it. I'd like to suggest the
book "The three pillars of Zen" by Roshi Philip Kapleau because it's so neat and full of great infomation. Metta.
