Some issues to remember

I think there are various people that are reminding us that what we are reading comes from the monastic view of ife where vows were taken and are very correct. This is year 2000 and lay aspect is quite different.
Teachings are to be taken seriously but maybe one can lighten up a little on themselves. I swear if I never hear about vegatarians again that will be find with me.
I certainly learned from one kind lady that at least let me know what meat is but have compassion on us soul s that are not so perfected in our lives. I can't remember how many rules there are for monks, a couple of hundred at least so read carefully but remember when it was written.
It seems alot of things that are being written here that if one would go down the site, the answers or subject matter has already been discussed and you may find some answers there before you need to ask the question. Its lots of fun to go back and see what we all have asked and remember there is also a SEARCH on here that has already been discussed and you take your subject there, thanks to Grace, I found that one.
We are all one and I think our goals are all trying to do right and find the path but really we already have it.
For those of you that write so well in your commentaries, bless you all as I have to go find the book to be able to quote for it and it seems some of your are just able to flow with it naturally and that is just beautiful.
Sergio, you keep putting your thoughts out there as I sure am learning alot from you and I am not singling Sergio out, I learn something from each of you.
His Holiness say "Be kind to yourself" and remember all man strives for happiness.
