: Concerning rebirth
: rebirth ceeps on happening until somebody achieves
: enlightenment.
: Why try to achieve enlightenment if one knows that then the process of rebirth ends ?
: Isn't is much nicer to be reborn for ever ?
:

I used to think the same as you do, that life is good and it is desirable to be reborn again and again, but the pleasures of this life are nothing compared with the infinite timeless/eternal bliss of Nirvana. Is it that you think Nirvana is a kind of spiritual death? An end to everything? It's not! It's simply the end of the material suffering and poor quality joys and is replaced with the timelessly eternal bliss of Nirvana. That is much more desirable than ocupying a physical body! Hope this helps.

Peace,
Remmy
