Well, I just started to suggest Buddhist ideas to my mom, slowly conferming my agreement with the ideas. After a while my mom just put two and two together and all i did was confirm it to her. Not that this was as easy a proccess as it may sound... because there were some serious arguments after, especially when it came to my lack of belief in the theistic God. Note: I said the theistic, as in the God of religion. That's somewhat off topic. Anyway, so long as I don't bring it up, me and my mom get along fine. That's what I did. Chances are your mom will be upset mostly because she feels your heading for the big hell in the sky by giving up ``the one true religion'', since so many are raised to fear God, it's no wounder. My mom is pretty liberal about her beliefs, so she just rationalized it by think that God only cares that I lead a good life, not that i follow his religion... that's how she deals, your mom may deal in another way. Anyway, Metta to you, I hope to hear about what happens.
