I think you and the other one who responded have been right so far.
It's only because I am undergoing a process where I feel guidance (not necessarily one-to-one) can help. Obviously everyone has their own needs, some may wish to practise on their owns until the need for more formal guidance arises.
But it would be great too to have the opportunities to learn directly from someone who comes from certain traditions, have walked through the process but also know about different methods. There's no harm to learn more. Just talking from my experiences sometime there are even detail things we may learn from a guide like this, of course, again, I am not saying we rely on teacher(s), and it also depends on our traits
