Dear Buddhist friends,

Just want to share my opinion, according to my teacher:
Hinayana and Mahayana depend on your MIND, not in your sects our traditions.
If you say that you are Mahayana, but you think only on the liberation of yourself you are Hinayanist.
But if you say that you are Hinayana, but you think to liberate also all living being, than you are Mahayanist!
So actually Mahayana and Hinayana are not exist! Both are illusion.....that made only by your MIND.
Actually there are only one VEHICLE, the Buddha Vehicle, the supreme Vehicle!
If you read the Lotus Sutra, you can understand about it.
There is a story about a monk with his disciple, that told by Venerable Master Hsuan Hua.
This monk allready attain realizatuin, and can read the mind of his disciple.
The Disciple carry their luggage. Once arose in the mind of his disciple a great compassion to save all living beings.
The Master released the mind of his disciple and took over the luggage. The Disciple was very surprised, and asked his Master why he did so.
The Master said, your dedication is higher than mine, so I must take over this luggage, and then they continued to walk.
After a while, the disciple changed his mind, and think that it is more useful to liberate himself.
The Master knew this, and gave back the luggage.
Maybe from this story we can learn something, that it is only the PLAYING of MIND.
Please be patience, because both "traditions", Mahayana and Theravada teach patience.
If you have no patience you are neither Theravada nor Mahayana, and means you are not the disciple of Lord Buddha
Please forgive me if I make a mistake, and please correct me.
