: I think I have finally distilled this the way I want to ask it: If this life is an illusion, why is any life sacred?
"Life is an illusion" means that our perception of live is an illusion, because we perceive live/reality as permanent, self-existance and no-dependent. It doesn't mean that live is not real. That's a wrong interpretation of this phrase.
Hope it be useful..
