: : : Buddism is a way in which we can bring ourselves back to our awakened state,i, myself am buddism and we believe that buddism is a way to escape the sorrows and pain of this world. If u study buddism more closely you can identify that it gives the reasons to why everything is as it is. why animals are animals, human's are humans...or why some are misfortunate and others lucky. buddism provides the answers to what christians seem to ignore...i hope that this has been a helpful message

I want to become a Buddist but I am having a hard time finding information, help, and someone in my are to serve as a teacher. I read a book on Western Buddaism and I can't remember the authors name, but I know he was from a Jewish family and studied in Tibet with some great Buddist teachers. I knew after reading the book what has always been missing in my live and that I am destined to be a Buddist. Anyone who can help me to find the Lama who wrote that book or who can lead me down the path to becoming a Buddist and learning all I can please e-mail me at twodobeys@msn.com I desperately need help and guidance.
