Hi. I'm doing a case study for a college paper. Would appreciate any help from a Buddhist, preferably several opinions. The case is: In a community in France, Muslim girls are being sent to school wearing veil over their face. This is against school policy. The Muslim community does not appear to want anything from the French except the benefits of the economy. The girls mothers keep the girls home instead of sending them to school. How would a Buddhist react? Is a certain dress required for Buddhist? Please leave your initials, state, how long you've been a Buddhist, and either Zen, Theraveda, or Mahayana tradition. Thanks, Wade Sanders
