I like what the others have said, and I'm glad you're finding a home here. One more note on this topic: The great thing about science and Buddhism is that, according to their doctrines, anyway, neither pretend to have "the answers". Science by it's very nature is out to DISprove everything -- the whole point of scientific experiments is to throw out an old idea and open up as more questions as possible. In science, there are no answers, only theories and experimental results. In Buddhism, in many ways, there are no answers either -- there are only your own answers. So if one does somehow contradict the other, look within yourself, test your own beliefs (experiment), and see what you decide. then acknowledge that your "answer" is probably only theory anyway, as are all the answers.
