A worthwhile project in Australia (should be fun too!)

Hi Friends,

Recently I came across a flyer for what I feel is a very worthwhile cause and I thought I might share it with you all. From the 26th september-10 october, the Association of Engaged Buddhists are holding a bushwalk along the Great North Walk (runs between Sydney and Newcastle, around 270km) to help raise funds through sponsorship to establish a hospice retreat centre in Metropolitan Sydney. There is a Aus$75.00 registration fee (refundable against sponsorship) and if you would like more information call (02) 9716 4147.

I feel this is a great oppurtunity for any local or visiting people to really contribute to the worlds community and (of course) have some fun in the mean time. Perhaps if your in other parts of Aust or o'seas, you may like to something along similar lines for other worthy causes, because if we all pull together miracles can truly occur!

Good Roads and Fair Weather,
Shane
