I don't think there's something you can actually call a buddhist wedding, but someone please correct me if I have mistaken. Buddhists tend to perform wedding ceremonies according to their particular culture, so you can choose your or his culture's way to performing the ceremony.
As to divorces, the Buddhas wants everyone to be happy, so if a marriage causes too much suffering, then by all means, get a divorce. Just make sure you understand the laws about marriages and divorces of the particular country you reside in. I hope this helps. Oh...you fiance is not that serious about buddhism. Obviously, he loves you more than the Enlightened One. He's more serious about you... you lucky girl.
